ENGLISH PARTY
Aims:
To explain the importance of the holiday;
To build up an atmosphere to express students’ artistry;
To develop speaking, listening, reading skills;
To bring the students up to love the native language and respect other languages;
Aids:
Technical: Computer, hi-fi, interactive board.
Non-technical: balls, posters, costumes forW.Shakespeare, A.Kunanbaev, A.Pushkin and for Romeo and Juliette.

1-жүргізуші:Each country has its own holidays and celebrations. There is one holiday in September which is celebrated in our country. Do you know the name of the holiday?
2-жүргізуші: Иә, ол – Қазақстан Республикасының Тілдер күні. 1998 жылы 20 қаңтарда Елбасымыз Нұрсұлтан Әбішұлы Назарбаев Қазақстан халықтарының ұлттық байлығы – Тілді қорғау мақсатымен 22 қыркүйекті «Қазақстан халықтарының тілдері күні» деп жариялаған еді.

2-жүргізуші:Well, there is no wealth more than language. Language is power of people. All of us should speak many foreign languages.
1-жүргізуші: Every nation should be proud of their mother tongue.
2-жүргізуші:Yes, I agree with this idea. Besides it, we should work for the sake of our language and for the prosperity of the language.
1-жүргізуші:Then, welcome the students of the 9th “A” form to represent poems about mother tongue.

1-student(Ғасырға): Kazakh is the official and principal native language of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is also spoken in southern Siberia, northwestern China and northwestern Mongolia. It is one of the most widely spoken Turkic languages in Central Asia. An estimated 8 million people speak Kazakh: 6.5 million in Kazakhstan.
2-student(Жарқынай): Kazakh is a member of the Central Turkic group of languages, which is a sub-group of Common Turkic. Kazakh and the other Turkic languages are closely related to one another. Kazakh as it exists today began to take the shape in the 17th century during the Modern Turkic Period.
3-student(Нұрила): Kazakh possesses a rich and ancient tradition of oral poetry, but did not exist in any standard written form until the middle of the 19th century. Kazakh was written with the Arabic script until 1929; with the Roman alphabet from 1929 to 1940; and with the Cyrillic alphabet following Soviet occupation in 1940.
4-student(Эльонора): Тhis alphabet was modified slightly in 1954 and the Cyrillic now used employs the 33 letters of standard Russian, plus several additional symbols for sounds specific to Kazakh. Kazakh has 8 vowels, 25 to 26 consonants. Words are usually stressed on the final syllable.
