The theme of the outdoor lesson: «Who gets a million?»

The aims of the outdoor lesson:

  1. To check pupils’ knowledge from English, Kazakh and Russian through playing games, doing different tasks
  2. To develop pupils’ reading, speaking and thinking abilities and in large their vocabulary.
  3. To bring up the pupils the lovers of language of English and teach to be attentive and curiosity

The type of the outdoor lesson: competition

Teacher: Good morning dear guests, teachers and pupils! Welcome to our competition “Who gets a million?”  The pupils of 4th forms take part in this game. Well, we begin our game and let’s meet our participants. Let me introduce you with our players. The first team is called “Planets”. The captain of the team is __. The second team is called is “Robots”. The captain of the second team is ___. We will introduce today’s  competition’s levels.

They are called:

  1. Introduction
  2. Riddles

III. Magic cards

  1. Station grammar

Well, let me introduce the members of juries:
_____________________________. Ok, let’s begin competition Our 1st  level introduction. Participants tell some words about themselves, about hobbies, favorite subjects, motto. The captain of each team comes here, takes out cards. There are numbers 1 and 2, who take number 1, that starts our competition.

Our 2nd  level “Riddles”. In this level our pupils should find the answers the riddles and have to translate them into Kazakh and Russian. For each right answer they’ll receive of     5 point.

“Planets” team:

1.You can eat me.                                                  2.So colorful and bright

I bleat or boa.                                                          Likes eating carrot

“Robots” team:
1.You can ride me,                                                   2.I live in China

I don’t drink often                                                    I am a kind of bear

I live in the desert                                                     I am black and white

I have a hump  (camel, түйе, верблюд)                 I eat bamboo (panda, панда, панда)

 

3.I eat grass                                                              4.As red as fire,

I live in Africa                                                         With a fuzzy tale

I am black and white                                               He likes long walks

I look like a horse (zebra, зебра, зебра)               It is … (fox, түлкі, лиса )

Name 7 colors
